About The Wallace Falls Trail Run
The Wallace Falls Trail Run is a Running race in Gold Bar, Washington consisting of a Half Marathon Trail Run and 22.4 Miles and 50K Trail Run (Ultra).
Half Marathon, 22.4 mi, and 50k races. A loop course with a mix of single track, logging road and converted rail road grade. The course has views of the Wallace River, Middle and Upper Wallace Falls, the Skykomish Valley, Wallace Lake and Jay Lake. The Half Marathon has a short out and back at the beginning, goes up the Woody trail past the falls, along the upper grade (dnr rd) to Wallace Lake and an aid station, then out to Jay Lake and back by the Wallace Lake aid station, down the Greg Ball trail and the Rail Road grade trail back to the finish at the trail head. The 22.4Keep Reading mi and 50k do the same first loop without the initial out and back. The 22.4 mi does an additional loop without going to Jay Lake again. The 50k does the same additional loop twice. Aid stations at Wallace Lake and the start/finish area. The Half Marathon has about 2500 ft elevation gain. The 22.4 mi has about 4500 ft elevation gain. The 50k has about 6600 ft elevation gain. Early start is available at 7:00 am for 50k runners who expect to take longer than 8 hours to finish. Finish line cut off time for all distances is 4:00 pm.
