About The 8 Hours of Ode

The 8 Hours of Ode is a Running race in Holly, Michigan consisting of a 4.2 Mile Trail Run and 8 Hour Trail Run (Ultra) and Marathon Trail Run.

Enjoy our beautiful and challenging 4.167 mile famous Ode to Laz trail loop in the Holly State Recreation Area. Run up to 8 hours, or only 1 lap if you'd like. You can run in the backyard ultra format, starting each loop on the hour, or run continuously. Feel free to start in the backyard format and switch later if you'd like. Dress appropriately for the cold and have shoes or traction aids suitable for icy/snowy conditions. No trekking poles please. You bring the smile, we'll bring the soup and coffee.
