The Cass Lake Splash & Dash is a Aquathlon race in Cass Lake, Minnesota consisting of a Sprint.
A Splash and Dash (aquathlon) is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines swimming and running. USA Triathlon's Splash and Dash Youth Aquathlon Series will feature a swim/run combination.
The USA Triathlon Splash and Dash Youth Aquathlon Series will be returning for its sixth year as a national series and is open to youth ages 7-15. There will be over fifty (50) events in total across the country and Dominative Development is thrilled to host one of the many events selected!
The focus of the series is on PARTICIPATION rather than competition. The Series will expose youth participants to USA Triathlon and the exciting world of multisport!

Participants ages 7-10 will swim approximately 100m followed by a 1k run while participants ages 11-15 will swim approximately 200m followed by a 2k run.
The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon which means course maps, staff, and a medical plan, among other items, have been reviewed and approved by USAT.
The Splash and Dash Youth Aquathlon Series:
Exposes and educates youth to the multisport lifestyle, all while being involved in a fun, exciting, and safe atmosphere! It will really help you to "get your feet wet!"
Creates an opportunity for participants to meet friends and other youth athletes who are interested and also engage in the multisport lifestyle!
Requires less equipment required compared to that of a triathlon since a Splash and Dash (aquathlon) does not require a bike and other biking components.
Be prepared for a great experience, bring a positive attitude, and be ready to learn firsthand about multisport!
