Everyone should celebrate their mother, every day - not just on Mother’s Day. But you certainly want to honor your mom when the official day to celebrate her comes around in May. This year, don’t just get the usual flowers and chocolate. Switch it up by enjoying the day as a family and doing what she loves to do: being active!

For the mom that likes something a little more challenging (and for a good cause), sign up for the Paducah Iron Mom Half Marathon! All proceeds from the race will benefit Family Service Society, a non-profit crisis resource center that provides Paducah/McCracken County residents assistance with basic needs such as food, clothing, prescription medications, emergency dental, and more.
