I absolutely had a blast during this race. The Race Expo was very engaging and informative. The views along the course were awesome especially when going over the bridge. I had a blast (and a laugh too) seeing all the costumes that people were wearing.

The race passes through beautiful rural countryside. Emergency workers with flashing lights provide safety at intersections. This has always been one of my favorite races in DC because it takes place against the backdrop of the beautiful cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin and Hanes point in DC in April. Weather is always unpredictable, but typically the temps are perfect for a great race (cold, but manageable).
