The Run Sunset Beach is a Running race in Sunset Beach, North Carolina consisting of a Half Marathon and 10K and 5K and 1 Mile.

Join us for our annual Run Sunset Beach of the BAM! Race Series in Sunset Beach North Carolina! BAM is short for #BigAssMedals and our finisher medals do not disappoint.

Sunset Beach is a beautiful coastal island in SE North Carolina with a beautiful waterfront park, shaded golf course communities, an incredible bridge over the intracoastal waterway and unforgettable oceanfront views on the island! We host a half marathon, 5K & 1 Mile in April when the average temperatures are a High 67 and a Low of 59. Sunset Beach is ranked one of the top beaches in the World by National Geographic!

6:45am - Half Marathon
7:15am 10K & 5K
8:30am - 1Mile

FINISHER SWAG:

This year we our finisher shirts will be going back to our extremely soft tri-blend T's with a beautiful unique design and an absolutely stunning night time nautical themed race medal. Over the years we've had surfboard, flip flop, glass, lockets, artistic connecting medals, a pirate theme, mosaic designs, and much more - we change it up each year to bring unique medals but this year might top them all. We hope you enjoy them!

Starting early just as the sun is rising you'll experience a course that takes you through a beautiful golf course community and around the entire mainland of Sunset Beach. You'll tackle the bridge (65' elevation) onto the island to tour the entire length from East to West before finishing back on the mainland in the beautiful waterfront park.
