Fort wadworth(starting village) was not a good experience, arrived to my corral at 9:01 (corral 1F green village) it had already closed and many other runners like me were not allowed in, eve tho we arrived there one minute late because the bus dropped is late despite getting on the ferry

This is funny filled event that brings diverse crowd together. It was a blast running and connecting with diverse community. One of the most affordable professional 5 k runs in Chicagoland.

I thought the race was beautiful and extremely well run. There was tons of aid on the run course which helped a lot on the hot day. A choice of local wine or beer growlers made the awards worth aiming for!
Challenges include one rough mile or so on a bike path
