Due to confusion about the course, this race was a complete disaster. Runners being sent down the wrong streets, backtracking, running into others going the wrong way...could they have screwed it up any more? Most of the 5K runners ended up running about 2.3 miles, that is, if they didn't fall

Excellent scenery and well organized event. Tough trails at altitude - but worth the views. Ragnar Village is spread out on a soccer and baseball field so nice soft grass to pitch camp. A rec center at the village provides showers and a pool so it's far from roughing it.

Feel good, positive, supportive group of women at this race. It was well organized and even a beginner could easily navigate the when, where and how of a Tri. The Syracuse area is a great place to visit in the summer. Lots to do on a weekend visit.
