About The Friendship Walk & 5K Run
The Friendship Walk & 5K Run is a Running race in Arlington, Washington consisting of a 5K.
BE A SUPERHERO and sign up for the 12th Annual Friendship Walk & 5K Run scheduled for Saturday, September 28, 2019. Once again, the course will be set along a portion of the 23-mile Centennial Trail in Arlington, Washington, beginning and ending at Legion Memorial Park.
The Friendship Walk & 5K Run is open to runners of all levels. The trail is flat and fast with limited elevation changes. The path is picturesque, with large portions of the run surrounded by an umbrella of trees and scenic views.
Every penny raised goes to fund and support Voices of the Village, a client-based performance ensemble band affiliated withKeep Reading Village Community Services, a 501c3 non-profit organization that supports individuals living with disabilities.
Participants will enjoy a race atmosphere that is high in energy, community, and friendship. Upon arrival, event-goers will be greeted by the upbeat sounds of the Voices of the Village band. The Superhero themed event is fun for the entire family a itas not uncommon to find teams of Wonder Women and Supermen roaming the park and enjoying the race festivities. Will you be one of them?!
Register early to secure your aearly birdai¿½ registration (through September 15th) and your Voices of the Village T-shirt as sizes and quantities are limited to a first come, first serve basis. Participants also have the option of choosing a water bottle or hat, if preferred.
