GreenFest on the Greenbelt - Denton, Texas - Running

The GreenFest on the Greenbelt is a Running race in Denton, Texas consisting of a 5K.

This run will take place during GreenFest on the Greenbelt a health, wellness, and recreation festival that will have food and activities for the whole family. The 5K will be timed and entirely off-road. The course will take you along the beautiful Greenbelt Trail and across the historic Elm Fork Bridge. The 1 Mile Fun Run will be around the festival area for all of the spectators to enjoy

All participants of the 5K will receive a swag-bag with sponsor goodies, event t-shirt and finisher medal. The goal of this event is to raise funds in order to re-open the south end of the Greenbelt known as the 380 Greenbelt Corridor. It has been closed due to flooding several years ago. We are partnering with The Greenbelt Alliance of Denton County, A 501(c)3 nonprofit. They are a community-based, volunteer organization that fosters awareness of the Greenbelt.
