About The 25th Annual Dash for Dignity
The 25th Annual Dash for Dignity is a Running race in Dallas/Farmers Branch, Texas consisting of a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run.
The 25th annual Dash for Dignity is a community-wide event, sponsored by Dallas Medical Center, that includes a timed 5K race throughout the flat streets of Farmers Branch, a 1-mile Dignity Parade, Carnival and Health Fair. Achieve is inviting people with disabilities and children throughout our community from local schools, area non-profit organizations, group homes, and foster families to walk in the parade and attend the carnival for free. Dallas Medical Center is providing free cholesterol checks and will have booths that offer important health screening for the entire family. As always, Mike Doocy of Fox 4 Sports will be our master of ceremonies, broadcasting live. Look forward to food trucks,Keep Reading costume contests, live music, 5K awards, and finishing medals! Thanks to our corporate sponsors, ISD high school athletic teams run in the 5K for free! We anticipate more than 1,000 attendees, and the event will reach hundreds of thousands more thanks to our generous media partners and marketing efforts.
