About The Mike Foley Memorial Classic
The Mike Foley Memorial Classic is a Running race in Spartanburg, South Carolina consisting of a 5K and Kids Run/Fun Run.
The annual Mike Foley Classic (formerly the Ready for Fall?) is held on the legendary cross country course at Milliken & Company's Arboretum, which has been home to to nearly a dozen national cross country championships and dozens and dozens of elite American and foreign runners. The race has been renamed to honor the race's founder Mike Foley, who devoted much of his life to promoting and growing the SC running scene.
This fall, the course will once again host the newly named Mike Foley Classic 5K, the kickoff cross country race for the fall racing season.

Others enjoy the option of running the all-grass course prior to the annual Eye Opener Cross Country meet hosted each fall for high school and college cross country teams from across the Southeast.
