P4C 5K - Newcastle, Oklahoma - Running

The P4C 5K is a Running race in Newcastle, Oklahoma consisting of a 1 Mile and 5K.

Caleb Freeman is a 16 year-old Newcastle HS student who was injured in an auto accident on Dec 19, 2017 while he and his brother were on their way to an OU basketball game in Norman, OK. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and is currently undergoing rehabilitation at Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado with his family. His father, Jeremy Freeman, is the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church Newcastle. P4C (Pray for Caleb) was created by a family friend to rally support and encourage people to keep lifting Caleb up in prayer.

Caleb's Newcastle High School Cross Country Team and First Baptist Church Newcastle are hosting the P4C 5K & Fun Run. His XC family and FBCN family both journey with Caleb on his road to recovery. We couldn't think of a better way to combine his love for Christ and his love running. Our hope is that this fundraiser will be a HUGE success for the "Pray for Caleb" Medical Fund! All proceeds from this event will go directly to Caleb Freeman's medical expenses.

The P4C 5K course is certified by DG Productions. Prizes will be awarded for the winners in each category. There will also be a 1 mile Fun Run for kids and those who just want to participate. For those unable to attend this event but still wish to participate in the Race, we offer the Virtual Race option. Just register for the Virtual Race and run the 3.1 miles where you are! Another great way to support Caleb and family!
