Mentor Rotary presents Funky Winkerbean 5K with proceeds benefiting Lisa's Legacy Fund at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. Lisa's Legacy Fund honors Lisa Moore, a character from cartoonist Tom Bailuk's own imagination and inspired by his experience with cancer for his popular comic strip, Funky Winkerbean. The fund advances Tom's commitment to cancer research and education.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finalists and to the top three age group finalists for male and female. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m.; race starts at 8:30 a.m.
