The IRONMAN 70.3 ALCUDIA-MALLORCA is a Triathlon race in Alcudia, consisting of a Half Ironman.

Fancy a beautiful course through scenic Spanish island villages and sweeping ocean views? The balearic island of Mallorca is not only a training paradise for triathletes from around the world, but also host to one of the largest IRONMAN 70.3 events in the world. A fast course in magnificent sunny Mallorca, the race always takes places on a Saturday and allows triathletes to relax and visit the island on Sunday, it has been a global favourite for over a decade.

Swim
Within the Bay of Alcudia, well protected from the high seas, the 1,9km swim sector takes place, starting and finishing at the spectacular Playa de Muro in Port d'Alcudia, known for its excellent location, white sand, turquoise waters and its proximity to numerous hotels and restaurants.
After the swim, there will be 100 meters of IRONMAN red carpet filled with spectators cheering on all the athletes.
The swim will feature a rolling start format.

Bike
Athletes will complete in a single lap a 90km bike ride with 800m of positive elevation gain in a circuit that brings together all the mythical landscapes of the island: views of the Mediterranean Sea, serpentine cycling roads through the Serra de Tramuntana and beautiful inland villages.
The route will take you from the Bay of AlcAºdia to the most beautiful mountains of Mallorca, the Serra de Tramuntana, passing through the Coll de Femenia and reaching the highest point at the Coll de la Batalla, located at 576m above sea level at km 35 of the circuit. From there, downhills and rolling flats will take you through pretty inland villages to Transition 2, the same as Transition 1.

Run
The three-loop 21.1 km (13.1 mile) run course is a flat course along the wonderful AlcAºdia Bay. The finish line is located on the beach area, about 50 meters away from the swim start.
