About The Tugboat Chug 5k

The Tugboat Chug 5k is a Running race in Waterford, New York consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.

Run with us at the confluence of the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers and the gateway to the historic Erie Canal! You will work your way through the quaint Village of Waterford before crossing the bridge to Peebles Island State Park to enter the picturesque trails. Retrace your steps in the village before returning to the top of the lock and the finish line!
The loop course begins and ends atop Erie Canal Lock 2.
