Based in Kansas City's urban core, Harris Park Midtown Sports & Activities Center has created a safe and positive environment for the community to enjoy and thrive in.

Through recreational and educational activities ranging from supervised basketball leagues to educational clinics, Harris Park is leading the neighborhood's revival. Located from 31st to 47th streets and Paseo to Prospect. Harris Park builds on the community's concept of beauty, self-expectation and future.

Founded in 1998, Harris Park founder Chris Harris has transformed the area that was a decaying city block into the beautiful, lively park it is today. Through his vision and tenacity, and a support network of people who share his passion, the Park is expanding to include basketball courts, pickleball, sand volleyball, batting cages, a putting green and golf course, a playground and a covered pavilion.

Harris Park's mission is to provide a structured environment that empowers young people and adults to develop basic life skills, self esteem, respect for property and respect for the rights of others. That remains the focus of the Park now, and into the future.

This 5K run walk is a step to help us improve and achieve the much needed funding for the improvements, and to support community relations with the City Departments including the KCMO Police Department and Fire Department. We Thank YOU for your support!
