All the distances of this race are worth running. The trails at Independence Oaks are challenging and the Back Roads are rolling hills. The scenery is gorgeous at this time of year, and the after party is great, with music, the famous Union Mac n cheese (the Clarkston Union was featured

The course is flat and well marked to provide potential Personal Record times. Custom medals for the top three in each group are very nice. And the event supports the local activities provided by the Lions Club of North Ridgeville.

Loved the whole concept of this race. It is to raise awareness of cancers kids and dogs both develop, and so has both a 5K and 1 Mi. Fun Run for the kids, as well as a 1 mile "Dog Jog!" We were able to do the 5K race
