Rhino Man 5K - Walker, Michigan - Running

The Rhino Man 5K is a Running race in Walker, Michigan consisting of a 5K.

GCC and the Timbavati GameReserve in South Africa have joined forces to develop the Future Rangers Program. The program engages school children from rural communities which border Kruger National Park and sends them on a 2 night/3 day experience. They go on game drives, spend time with rangers, learn about careers in conservation, gain knowledge in planting vegetable gardens, harvest rainwater and learn about the value of wildlife. The best learners are flagged and once graduated from high school will be approached by the Southern African Wildlife College, who give out ranger scholarships to 22 school leavers every year.

By partaking in the Rhino Man 5k Run, your registration fees will provide the opportunity to send these children to camp. This program allows children to learn and grow in their communities. We hope you will join us for this wonderful cause and help us make their dreams possible.
