The Anderson Road Runners have always done an outstanding job with this race and their experience shows! They keep the runner in mind with details, course directions, course safety, finish shoot, overall organization and fun! Can't say enough good thing about this running club's event. This was a fun neighborhood race with a very scenic route. It was well organized, started on time, and it felt like the whole local community came out to cheer us on, which was fun. The course had a good mix of uphill and downhill, but beware...Gallows Lane is no joke!

To be my first marathon it was great. From the expo to the race. Didn't expect it to be this good been to other expos this one was great. I would do this race again. I'm from Chicago. I always volunteer but
