Word Wobble 5K - Ozawkie, Kansas - Running

The Word Wobble 5K is a Running race in Ozawkie, Kansas consisting of a 5K.

We are pleased announce the opportunity to participate in the Word Wobble 5K Run/Walk. This race is a wonderful opportunity to reach participants and volunteers who are active in their communities while contributing to helping provide dictionaries to the third graders in Jefferson County. Pleasant View Grange #1459 has been presenting dictionaries to the third graders in the area for many years through the Words for Thirds program. Words for Thirds is a nationwide service initiative endorsed by the National Grange through the Dictionary Project, a non-profit organization that strives to provide an individual dictionary to every school student as a way of encouraging the development of good reading habits and verbal comprehension skills early in life. The race will start at the Ozawkie United Methodist Church and will be run through the city of Ozawkie. Awards will be presented to 1st place male and female runners overall and to the top male and female finisher in each of the following age divisions: Junior (13 & Under), Youth (14-21), Young Adult (22-35), Young at Heart (36+).
