The Das Bier Run is a Running race in Peoria, Illinois consisting of a 5K.

The Das Bier Run 5k is an annual event organized with the German American Society and Peoria Park District's Oktoberfest. Uniquely held on a Sunday afternoon, runners enjoy the festival, beer (or non-alcoholic beverages for the youngsters), and our side events including an updated twist on some traditional German games. As this event grows every year, we can't wait to share all of our fun, new ideas with you! Additionally, proceeds gained from the Das Bier events go to local charities like Paws Giving Independence and CWTC!
