The Four Legged Running Half Marathon is a Running race in Mascoutah, Illinois consisting of a Half Marathon and 5K.

Four Legged Running is devoted raising money and awareness for dogs and cats in need, while giving runners the inspiration to run for a cause. When you sign up for the Inaugural Half Marathon and 5k with Four Legged Running, $20 of every entry fee will go towards non-profit, no-kill animal rescues (full list of resuces you will support can be found on the Four Legged Running website).

This race is FOR the animals, NOT WITH the animals. You will not be able to race with your four legged running buddy at this event and that is for both you and your pets safety. There will be local animal rescues at the finish line with some of their adoptable pets, so there will still be plenty of four legged friends to interact with on race day. So come support rescues, race your best race, then meet the animals afterwards.
