The IN Their Shoes 10K is a Running race in Athens, Georgia consisting of a 10K.

Join us for the In Their Shoes 10K Run/Walk to honor and remember friends and family who've experienced cancer. 100% of the donations stay local and benefit the Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support at Piedmont Athens Regional.

THE LORAN SMITH CENTER

The Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support offers cancer patients compassion, support and insight from other patients and medical professionals. Available services include support groups, educational workshops, individual and group counseling, exercise classes, complimentary therapies, and a library. The center also provides emotional and spiritual support to cancer patients, their families and caregivers before, during and after treatment.

HOW DONATIONS ARE USED

More than $1.4 million has been raised since the event started in 2006. 100% of the donations stay local and allow the center to provide programs and support services at no charge to cancer patients, their families, and caregivers regardless of where they are treated or how long ago they were diagnosed.

RUN/WALK ROUTE

The start and finish is at the UGA Intramural Fields located off College Station Road.
