Trent 10K - Tallahassee, Florida - Running

The Trent 10K is a Running race in Tallahassee, Florida consisting of a 10K.

The Trent 10K, 5K and 1-Miler are named in memory of Trent McElroy, a Roberts 4th grader who lost his battle to childhood cancer in the Fall of 2013. All proceeds go to the Trents Touch Foundation to support local families who are living with childhood cancer. To date, we have supported 42 local families. All races are chip-timed events. Competitors and participants of all abilities will run/walk on a certified out-and-back course starting and ending at Roberts Elementary School.The 10K and 5K races will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the course goes down Pimilco Drive into the scenic Dublin Downs neighborhood in NE Tallahassee. The 1-Miler is run on the school property beginning at 8:00 a.m. The onsite registration and late pickup will be in the school cafeteria beginning at 7:15 a.m. The 5K race is a mostly flat out and back course through Dublin Downs, a residential neighborhood on Pimlico Drive. The race starts and ends at the Roberts Elementary School. Last year, the races drew almost 900 participants from competitive racers to walkers.

The 1-Miler is run on site at Roberts Elementary School and Montford Middle School. The course includes on and off-road sections, but does not utilize city streets.
