About The Pete Palmer Memorial 5k
The Pete Palmer Memorial 5k is a Running race in Coventry, Connecticut consisting of a 5K.
The 3.1 mile course travels through a section of the town of Coventry with the start and finish at Coventry High School. Packet pickup is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m., with the race start scheduled for 9 a.m.
The event is organized by Team MAD Charities (Team Making a Difference), a volunteer organization that raises money to help local charities through road races. The Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut, a non-profit agency serving thousands of children, families and adults in Connecticut will be the beneficiary of the proceeds raised from this event. The road race will commence from the High School turn right onto Ripley Hill Road, rightKeep Reading onto Cooper Lane right onto Root Road and right onto Main Street. Runners will be instructed to only run on the sidewalk on Main Street in the interest of everybody's safety. The race will finish with a right turn back into the high school entrance.
