Run for Habitat 5K - Berthoud, Colorado - Running

The Run for Habitat 5K is a Running race in Berthoud, Colorado consisting of a 5K.

The annual Run for Habitat 5K is a fundraiser for Berthoud Habitat for Humanity. The run/walk event is staged to begin and end at our scenic Fickel Park, centrally located in town, with the run/walk taking place through neighboring streets, guided by signage along the route, with a watering station midway through the race route and which allows runners to see our Habitat homes and those under construction on N. 4th Street.

The Children's Free 1K will be held PRIOR to the 5K and will give children the opportunity to participate in the festivities.The Children's race starts about 8:00 am.

While there are competitive racers participating because this is a Certified 5K Distance with computer timing, parents are welcome to bring strollers for little ones to enjoy a 5K walk on a generally mild June morning. You are welcome to bring your four-legged friends (with a leash of course).

Affiliatated with Habitat for Humanity International, Berthoud Habitat for Humanity is part of a non-profit, ecumenical Christian organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing; our mission is to build decent affordable housing for families in the Berthoud - Campion area.

All proceeds from this event will go toward helping families in Berthoud and to begin construction on our eleventh home.
