This race was one of the most exciting 5ks I have ever participated in for many reasons. The course is in downtown Doylestown and has you running or walking past parts of downtown as well as friendly neighborhoods. Families will cheer you on from the sidelines. Ample water is provided by

Nothing super special about the race itself (although, it was wonderfully flat) but it was pretty cool as part of the Nebraska State Fair. You can basically run the race, take a shower (they offer free showers there), and then wander the state fair eating fried oreos and other fun
