The Panther Prowl 5K is a Running race in Southside, Alabama consisting of a 5K.

This event is being put on by the Southside High School Marching Band as a fundraiser. The course is a 3.11 mile run with a total ascent of 120.2 feet and a maximum elevation of 623.98 feet. Starting at Southside High School in Southside (Gadsden), Alabama. Run the course beginning at the high school and finishing at the football stadium on the 50 yard line. It will be road/street running that will be blocked off to traffic. Along the course there will be water stops and groups cheering on the participants. This 5k will be family friendly and fun. Age groups are 10Keep Reading and under, 11-14 years, 15-19 years, 20-24 years, 25-29 years, 30-34 years, 35-39 years, 40-44 years, 45-49 years, 50-54 years, 55-59 years, 60-64 years, 65-69 years, 70 plus. Medals for overall top 3 men and women and to the top 3 men and women in each age group. Registration time is 7:00 am with race start at 8:00 am.
