YMCA Color Run - Woodway, Texas - Obstacle & Mud Runs

The YMCA Color Run is a Obstacle & Mud Runs race in Woodway, Texas consisting of a 2.5 Mile Novelty Run (Short).

Bring the whole family and Walk, Run, Jog or Dance your way through 2.5 miles of beautiful Woodway Park. We will throw in the color and the fun! With registration you'll receive a white t-shirt for catching brilliant color and sunglasses for shielding your eyes. There will be color stations throughout the run and powder will be in the air so bring a head covering if you wish. After the family FUN RUN, stay and enjoy lunch and a colorful dance party! A portion of food sales will support LIVESTRONG AT THE YMCA.

The YMCA of Central Texas strives to offer free programming to cancer survivors with the purpose of restoring healthy mind, body and spirit. The YMCA COLOR RUN is a fundraiser for the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program. Cancer touches nearly every life-either directly or through a relative or friend. Although the diagnosis may be scary, advances in treatment allow us to celebrate that more survivors are winning this battle. Many survivors struggle to return to a normal life or define their new normal. To help them, the YMCA of Central Texas offers LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a program designed to help cancer survivors regain strength, balance and stamina. At the Y, we believe cost should not be a barrier to survivors reclaiming their fitness levels and receiving needed support. Therefore, every survivor participates free of charge. In addition, their family members receive a free three-month membership to the Y while their loved ones are enrolled in LIVESTRONG at the YMCA. Proceeds from this event will help support the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program.

This Fun Run is not timed. It's all about FUN. The FUN RUN will start in Woodway Park I and wind through Park II, ending in Park I. You will run through and be sprayed with powdered colors.
