"The course is great, though the last 2 miles have a lot of concrete which is hard to run on especially after running for 11 miles before. A couple more aid stations would be better, definitely were not enough especially second half which is hotter and some uphill.

This is one of the oldest races in Vermont and has great history and character. It is mostly on dirt roads and there is a gradual uphill toward the turn around making the last half feel easier than the first half. Don't expect a lot of hoopla, but it is pleasant
