I love this race - I've done it 3 times. This area of NH is so beautiful. Lake is crystal clear - just amazing. Be sure you have smoked goggles if sunny because you turn and swim into the sun. Bike course has a couple tough climbs

"Tips and Notes:
- you don't need to get there as early as they say
- mentally challenging to pass the halfway mark with others finishing - as with almost all half/full marathon races
- good crowd support in the beginning, a bit less on the second half
- work in hill training - not

Loved the course and the crowds. Only complaint - not enough water stops especially around the bridge, and running out of cups in Crystal City was horrible. Overall though, it was a very impressive event and I would recommend it to anyone.
