"This race was pleasant--aside from the 93% humidity that morning. Course runs around NYC's Central Park with the tougher hills between miles 1 and 4. No real complaints about the race or logistics. NYRR knows how to do races -- plentiful aid stations, clocks, safe course and good

This is a great race with a lot of history. I have run it a dozen times and keep coming back. Great swag and a nice after party. Registration is prompt and well organized. There is a nice after party at the Puck ( a local watering hole)

Course is fairly straight forward, out and back. One hill after the turn and a few rollers. The second half was very windy and cold. I made sure I tucked in behind someone to break the wind. Not my favorite half but a good tune up for the NYC marathon. Will
