The Lake Guntersville Duathlon is a Duathlon race in Guntersville, Alabama consisting of a Sprint.
It is a fun race on a fast and fairly flat course and takes place surrounding beautiful Lake Guntersville. Proceeds from the race benefit Family Services of North Alabama. Race begins at 8am. The first 3 mile run begins on the road and transitions to the greenway before returning to the rec center where you will start your 16.2 mile bike ride on a fairly fast course with a few rolling hills and slight inclines. You will then have another 3 mile run taking place on the greenway along the lake before finishing back next to the rec center.
