The Bike around the Buttes is a Cycling race in Sutter, California consisting of a 20 Miles and 40 Miles and 65 Miles and 100 Miles.
Bike around the Buttes was started by a man named Leroy Ervin,
a type 1 diabetic. The original ride was from Yuba City to the
Redding/Red Bluff area, but it was quickly deemed to be too long and
intense for the average rider.
All of our proceeds stay local and benefit diabetics in our community.
Today's ride consists of four courses around the Sutter Buttes.
We have a 20 mile course, a 40 mile course, a 65 mile course, and a 100 mile course.
