Individual & Team MTB Racing with BBQ and Beer!The MTB Celebration is our final spring Mountain Bike racing event held at beautiful Granite Beach, Folsom Lake SRA. The course has scenic single track trails and double track trails to ride on and enjoy. Included for each athlete is a TBF Celebration tech-tee shirt, an athlete goody bag, along with free coffee, water, FLUID recovery drink and RedBull energy drink.The MTB Celebration will also offer a Team Competition to Mountain Bike Teams and Clubs with 10 or more riders entered in the MTB Celebration in any division. Each rider will receive a Finisher Point and Podium Points to earn their Club or Team points towards the TBF Team MTB Champion Trophy. There will also be a hot post race BBQ meal, and ice cold Beer; for athletes 21, to relax and enjoy after the race while re-living your top race moments from the other TBF MTB Racing events you finished that spring. Thank you for racing with us and supporting the Mountain Bike Racing community. The MTB Celebration has a 1-lap Junior division, a Novice and Clydesdale division with 2-laps, a Sport and Single Speed 3-lap division, and an Expert/SS Expert and Pro divisions all doing four laps. Each lap is 6 miles of challenging, scenic, fast single track trails, up and down the foothills surrounding Folsom Lake. The MTB Kickstart is a great way to start the racing season and get back on your mountain bike. The fun course has a mixture of downhills and climbs combined with beautiful single track through the woods and along the lakeshore at Folsom Lake State Park.Course Description: The MTB Celebration race course is on multi-use trails within the Granite Bay State Park on Folsom Lake. The course features a fun, challenging combination of twisting single-track, wide double track, rolling cross-country with lots of turns that flow through the oak and pine forests. The course is perfect for first-timers and exciting fun for all levels. Please be respectful of other trail users including hikers and equestrian riders in this state park. All events are rain or shine, the course is great to ride in all weather.Feed Zones: Feed zones will be located on the course serving bottles of cold water, and FLUID Electrolyte beverage.
