Dream Center 5K - Nashville, Tennessee - Running

The Dream Center 5K is a Running race in Nashville, Tennessee consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.

Our mission statement: We are a ministry center committed to protecting and empowering those in our community living in distress.

Our neighborhood has limited access to grocery stores. The West Nashville Dream Center's food ministry has a goal to help supplement groceries and meals for our neighbors on a weekly basis. We distribute nearly 2,000 pounds of perishable food from our center on a weekly basis, as part of our partnerships with food-rescuing programs at Aldi, Sprouts and Whole Foods grocery stores. We also have a non-perishable food bank on site in partnership with Second Harvest.

Our 5k is about walking (or running) together as a community. We start and end the race at our center. The exact distance, 5 kilometers, is the same distance that many of our families would have to walk or take the bus to get groceries.

We are excited about this opportunity to bring our community together to celebrate healthy living and connect with more individuals to be part of the dream.
