Texas City Triathlon, Duathlon, and Aquabike boasts a unique opportunity for athletes to swim and bike on the Texas City Dike, ride around Bay Street Park, and run a mix of trails and paved paths not far from the shores of Galveston Bay.

Texas City is located on the Texas Gulf Coast, in Galveston County. It lies on the southwestern shore of Galveston Bay, just off the Gulf of Mexico. The city is positioned about 14 miles north of the city of Galveston and 40 miles south of Houston. The Texas City Recreation and Tourism Department offers numerous recreational, social, and fitness activities for our community and visiting tourists of all ages and interests.
