Fly along and feel the breeze of the Brazos as you traverse through the Texas countryside of rural Waco on your 112-mile bike journey. The energy of the Waco faithful will carry you along the 26.2-mile run, capped by a brand-new finish line at the historic Waco Suspension Bridge.

A Festival Weekend In Waco
Also join us on for IRONMAN 70.3 Waco at this festival weekend! Not only does this set-up allow for the half-distance athletes to cheer on family and friends competing in the full distance the day before, it also provides the opportunity for a live course preview. In addition to being a first-timer friendly course with a downriver swim and fairly flat bike and run, athletes who dream of conquering the esteemed 140.6 race in the future can race the half-distance this year to preview the course and get comfortable with the layout of the event.

Swim
The 2.4-mile, point-to-point swim will take place in the historic Brazos River in downtown Waco.
Bike
The 112-mile bike course is a two-loop course through the beautiful Central Texas rural roads. The two-loop course will take athletes past the Waco Lake and through the Waco wetlands before returning to downtown Waco, making for a flat, fast finish into T2.
Run
The 26.2-mile run course crosses the Brazos River multiple times across several beautiful, historic bridges and winding your way back to finish at the Historic Waco Suspension Bridge.
