New England Charm with Urban Ease
This early season event was a hit in the inaugural year, providing athletes with a perfectly situated tune-up race to IRONMAN Lake Placid and a wholesome New England journey from start to finish. Immerse yourself in clean down river water for a 1.2 mile swim in the Connecticut River setting the stage for a refreshing 56-mile bike ride that rolls into the countryside passing through New England's charming farms and landscapes. The 13.1 mile run goes along the riverbank with the city's vibrant atmosphere cheering you along every step of the way with an electric finish line in downtown Springfield.

Swim
Athletes will have a downriver swim in the Connecticut River which will start at North Riverfront Park finishing 1.2 miles south at Riverfront Park. They will exit the water and head to a close by transition area along the Connecticut Riverwalk.

Bike
The single loop bike course will head west our of Springfield and towards the beautiful Berkshires region, through the Granville area before returning back through Westfield and West Springfield. Enjoy picturesque views and great road quality along the way of this 56 mile journey.

Run
The fast and flat 2-loop run course will take you along the Connecticut Riverwalk aligned with greenery and views of the river. Be prepared to head into downtown Springfield for an urban vibe finish line.
