Ironman 70.3 Goseong - Goseong - Triathlon

The Ironman 70.3 Goseong is a Triathlon race in Goseong, consisting of a Half Ironman.

Race in the Dinosaur City
Goseong-gun is located at the southern end of central Gyeongnam. It is endowed with beautiful mountains, oceans, and fields. Its southern location oceanic climate makes the climate mild and warm all year around. The city also plays host to the Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo held at Goseong Dinosaur Expo Park which is our race venue.

1.9km Swim
The one-lap, 1.9km swim will start at Danghangpo within the Goseong Dino Expo Park and a rolling beach start will be implemented. This swim is held in a large ocean surrounded by mountains.

Swim cut-off time: 1 hour 10 minutes after the individual swim start time.

90.1km Bike
The one-loop bike course starts from Danghangpo and takes riders out along the Hallyeohaesang National Park, which is wind free along a beautiful ocean-side road because geographically this area is surrounded by mountains and small islands. The 90.1km out-and-back bike course is well-balanced rolling up and down the course.

Bike cut-off time: 5 hours 30 minutes after the individual swim start time.

21.1km Run
The three-loop run course offers the athletes a chance to enjoy the Goseong Dinosaur Expo park and road under the shadow of Bald Cypress trees. The run course is generally flat and with a big steady long hill(500m uphill and 500m downhill with 7%).
