Situated in the northwest corner of Africa, Marrakech will become the first city of the Maghreb to host an IRONMAN 70.3 triathlon, with competitors from all over the world expected to take part on a course that will feature one of the fastest bike legs of the global IRONMAN 70.3 circuit.

The one-loop 1.9 km (1.2 mile) swim course will take place in the beautiful Lalla Takerkoust lake to the South of Marrakech. Start straight ahead and two right turns will get you back to the exit andKeep Reading into transition.

The 90km (56 mile) bike course will take place against the backdrop of the snow-capped peaks of the Grand Atlas. Circuit : a half-loop passing through several authentic villages to the Ourika valley, to end on the Moulay El Hassan circuit.

The three-loop 21.1 km (13.1 mile) run will take place around the magnificent Medina of Marrakech and will end with an epic finish line in the Moulay El Hassan racing circuit!
