La Jolla Cove Swim - La Jolla, California - Swimming

The La Jolla Cove Swim is a Swimming race in La Jolla, California consisting of a 10 Miles.

All proceeds will benefit the Prevent Drowning Foundation of San Diego, providing swim lessons for underserved youth in our community, and La Jolla's Concerts by the Sea, a series of outdoor concerts to be held in Ellen Browning Scripps Park above La Jolla Cove summer. The Course for the Swim: Swimmers will begin and finish the 1 & 3 mile race on the beach of La Jolla Cove. Each Swim consists of three legs with two left turns around two buoys. Waves of swimmers will be in groups of 100- 200 swimmers depending on conditions. Swimmers between ages of 13-17 You will need to sign a waiver on site of the event at registration tables or email race coordinator judyahalter15@gmail.com for a waiver to sign and bring to registration. Parental approval is required for swimmers younger than 18. The recommended minimum age for this swim is 16. Prior competitive open water swimming is required for all participants.

Dukes of La Jolla: Will be providing a breakfast buffet for all swimmers.
