S'more Fun Trail Run - Baraboo, Wisconsin - Running

The S'more Fun Trail Run is a Running race in Baraboo, Wisconsin consisting of a 10K and 5K Trail Run.

The annual S'more Fun Trail Run fundraising event for the Friends of Mirror Lake State Park. Thank you to all of the participants and sponsors from last year!

NEW THIS YEAR: Participant cap has been increased to 400. We are also excited to announce that we will be using Tortoise and Hare Race Management timing company this year, making this a chip-timed event! A Facebook page has been created, so please check it out for updates and other fun things!

This fun run includes a 1 mile hike, 5K run and 10K run along the park's scenic trails. The goal of this event is to introduce people to the state park and to raise funds to support ongoing and future Friends' projects at the park. You will run along scenic Mirror Lake, near sandstone cliffs, up and down steep hills and to the finish line where you can enjoy post race food and beverages including s'mores around a campfire, making for a truly unique running experience! The family friendly 1 mile hike will take you on a loop through the woods ending at the post race area where you can enjoy s'mores too!

The Friends of Mirror Lake State Park is a non-profit that is organized for the charitable and educational purpose of supporting and assisiting Mirror Lake State Park. Some of the many projects that the Friends group helps with include the naturalist program, concerts in the park and candlelight ski and hike events. Future projects also include trail maintenance. Funds raised during the fun run will stay at Mirror Lake State Park and help with these projects.
