The Shining Lights 5K is a Running race in Schertz, Texas consisting of a 1 Mile and 5K.
In 2016 Clemens High School PIE Club members applied for and received a grant that they used to purchase fresh produce and chicken and provide packages of food to families in need as the Christmas and summer breaks began. With a desire to continue helping others, they came up with the Shining Lights 5K as a way to raise money to fund their efforts.
