Marfa Tech Trot - Marfa, Texas - Running

The Marfa Tech Trot is a Running race in Marfa, Texas consisting of a 5K.

Runners, walkers, and folks of all ages and abilities are invited to lace up their sneakers in support of Marfa Public Schools. All proceeds from the race will go to the school's technology fund to purchase computers and software for Marfa Public School students. This fun run/walk is part of the annual Marfa Lights Festival. The 5 kilometer foot race starts at 8:00 am at the Marfa Visitor Center. The course takes participants west through Marfa neighborhoods, out beautiful Pinto Canyon Road to the edge of town, then past Fort D.A. Russell and back to the Visitor Center finish line. Water and gatorade stops will be available along the route.
