The Running for Readers is a Running race in Hewitt, Texas consisting of a 5K.

Running for Readers is a 5k run and .5k walk/run to benefit the Hewitt Public Library. All proceeds will go towards increasing the educational resources (books, outreach programs, etc) that the Hewitt Public Library provides for the local community. There will be finisher medals for all runners. Post-race food includes breakfast tacos. There will also be a Free Community Health Fair inside the library from 9-noon with vendors from the local community.
