Blake's Run - Forney, Texas - Running

The Blake's Run is a Running race in Forney, Texas consisting of a 5K.

This year Blake's Run will be a timed 5K race that is dedicated to helping people of all ages participate in ministry focused mission trips. The namesake of our race is Blake Schoenrock. Blake was a day away from completing his sophomore year at Texas A&M University when he suffered a massive heart attack that ultimately took his life. Blake was an amazing athlete, an incredible student, an honorable son and most importantly, a devoted and passionate follower of Christ. When Blake was 11 he wrapped a gift and placed it under the family Christmas tree. No one in his family knew what was in the package until after his death. When Blake's parents opened the package they found a simple note that said tell the world about Jesus. In honor of his life and in keeping with his desire to see the name of Christ exalted we invite you to join us in Blake's Run
