The Ash Dash Bunny Run is a Running race in Austin, Texas consisting of a 5K.
This campus tradition started three decades ago when a group of volunteers started a fundraising event called Walk of the Roses, where hundreds of individuals walked on campus enjoying the gorgeous roses that bloom annually.
In 2004, the walk was turned in to a timed 5K run and was on a double looped USATF-certified course that winded through the hospital's beautiful tree-shaded grounds in historic Hyde Park. In 2009, the event changed its name and theme to the ASH Dash 5K Bunny Run.
