The Scholars Run is a Running race in Alcoa, Tennessee consisting of a 1 Mile and 5K.

T-SHIRTS: All participants will receive an attractive, high-quality short sleeved unisex shirt! Shirt size guaranteed to those who register before July 29. Anyone registering after July 29 will receive shirts while supplies last. The shirt order will be placed on July 29 and when the inventory runs out in the RunSignUp system then there will be no more shirts. No re-orders.

AWARDS/PRIZES: An awards ceremony will be held on-site immediately following the race (approximately 9 a.m.). Special awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group and to the male/female Overall and Masters winners in the 5K. All Fun Run/Walk participants will receive a participation gift. All race participants will be eligible for free door prize drawings which will take place immediately following the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Recognition will be given to the top corporate/school groups.

GENERAL INFORMATION: No baby strollers,bicycles, roller blades, dogs or use of headsets are allowed. Refreshments will be served immediately following the race for all registered participants.

Early Packet Pickup: New for 2017, we will be hosting early packet pick up Friday, August 4. Details will be posted closer to date.
